Assignments with Microsoft Excel
After learning multiple skills with Microsoft Excel, you will complete the class party assignment as is shown in an example below. After completing that, you will choose an additional one of mine or create your own assignment for me.
Click on the link below to access the first of a series of 8 Excel youtube tutorials (at least). You can either watch these ahead of time to be an expert and know more than the teacher, or watch them anytime after as a review.

My Final Expectations for your assignments:
apply formatting for each one and highlight spreadsheet as makes sense
color code items as makes sense
use money or accounting formatting for any monetary values
include a title
use conditional formatting,
know how to enter formulas into speadsheet boxes both manually and with autofill features that excel provides.
Try to learn shortcuts like function keys and bullets as well as knowing where to find the functions in the pull down menus
When you have completed your spreadsheet then you need to complete a chart/ graph to accompany the information as well.
Please make the graph attractive and suitable to your topic.
Make sure you can show me that you have used functions such as titles, font sizes/ colors, background image options possibly, centering, etc.
Grading:
1) Quiz
2) both the spreadsheet and graph assignments
3) presentations of these to the class
4) peer evaluations based on a given rubric
5) self evaluation
